Our House is a historic Prague residence reimagined for contemporary living. Behind its discreet façade are four generous apartments, an intimate tower for two and a quiet inner courtyard shaped by centuries of architecture.
The House
A house with a life of its own.
The residence keeps what it was built with: original proportions, timber beams, plaster surfaces and painted details that were uncovered and preserved rather than replaced. Around the courtyard, open galleries connect the floors much as they always have.
Inside, the apartments are restored for contemporary comfort — quiet, warm and practical for longer stays, without erasing the character of the building.
Genius Loci
The spirit of the house.
Our House is not a place that could have been created from scratch.
Its character comes from the layers that were already here: worn timber, quiet passageways, uneven walls, changing light and views across the rooftops of Prague.
The restoration brings contemporary comfort into the house without erasing the traces of its past. Original details remain visible, new elements are made with respect for the architecture, and many pieces throughout the interiors are being created specifically for these rooms.
The result is neither a conventional hotel nor a reproduction of history. It is a living house with its own rhythm, atmosphere and sense of place.
